The Organice Solution Accelerator helps companies to accelerate their SharePoint deployment and to enhance their document management solution with valuable additional functionality.
Document management implementations are often customized processes, requiring a lot of time and costs. Many organizations are unhappy with this approach and are looking for a standardized solution, based on best practices. A solution that is easy to implement, easy to deploy, can immediately be used and that fulfills the vast majority of their requirements.
The Organice Solution Accelerator provides a standardized yet fully flexible SharePoint based document management solution for Architects, Engineering and Construction companies (AEC) and other project driven engineering industries, based on best practices. It accelerates the implementation process by automatically deploying the necessary SharePoint and Organice settings and tools. A site provisioning tool helps project managers to easily create new project sites, without the need to involve SharePoint experts. The included site templates are based on best practices and provide an efficient environment to manage project documents and collaborate with project partners. If needed, sites are automatically enabled for Organice Transmit to manage and control document distribution with transmittals.
For customers that want to enhance their SharePoint document management solution, the Organice Solution Accelerator includes valuable additional functionality like Document Numbering and Rule Based Item Security. With Document Numbering, customers can automatically create document numbers according to their company standards. Rule Based Item Security helps to further define the security (authorization) on items, beyond the standard SharePoint security capabilities based on user roles.
The Organice Solution Accelerator helps the AEC and other project driven engineering industries to easily deploy their SharePoint solution and benefit from efficient engineering document management, document control and project collaboration.
The Organice Solution Accelerator is available to customers from November 2008.
